Patna, Feb 13 (Reporter) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha on Thursday claimed that his party would form the government again after the next assembly elections in the state.
Sinha while reacting over the remark of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad that BJP would not come to power again in Bihar in the next assembly elections, said his party was all set to form the government in the state after the next assembly elections this year.
There was no point in discussing the remark of Prasad as he had lost his relevance in politics, he pointed out.
" People of Bihar have already rejected the RJD and its leader Lalu Prasad as he has maligned the image of the state across the country and abroad", the BJP leader said adding that people were feeling shame to introduce themselves as Biharis during the RJD regime from 1990 to 2005. It was the Nitish-led NDA government that changed the image of Bihar due to its good works since 2005 when voted into power in the state, he pointed out.
Sinha said that the people of Bihar had not forgotten the 'Jungle Raj ' of the RJD regime when criminals were striking at their will. How could RJD think of coming to power, he wondered.
