BRS finalises candidates for LS poll; KCR announces Hyderabad seat nominees

Hyderabad, Mar 25 (Reporter) The Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has surged ahead in its preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with candidates for MP seats declared ahead of other political parties. BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has not only finalised candidates for 16 seats but has also decided the nominee for the crucial Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency. Following discussions with MLAs and public representatives, Gaddam Srinivas Yadav from Hyderabad has been chosen to contest the seat, as announced by KCR. In a significant move, all parliamentary candidates for the state have now been announced, reflecting a diverse representation strategy. Out of the 17 candidates, there are allocations for OC (Other Castes) - 6, BC (Backward Castes) - 6, SC (Scheduled Castes) - 3, and two STs (Scheduled Tribes). Notably, a substantial number of seats have been allotted to OC and BC communities.
