BRS MLAs walk out of Telangana Legislative Assembly over Formula E racing discussion

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Reporter) Members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) walked out of the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Friday after the government refused to allow a discussion on the Formula E car racing issue. The BRS MLAs insisted on a debate over the Formula E racing event, which was brought to Hyderabad by K T Rama Rao (KTR) with the aim of enhancing Telangana's global prestige. They protested against the legal cases filed against KTR in connection with the event, claiming that the truth would only be revealed through a discussion in the House. However, the state government did not permit the discussion, leading the BRS members to stage a walkout in protest.
