Chennai, July 6 (aUNI) The gruesome killing of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tamil Nadu Unit President K.Armstrong has angered the entire nation, BJP National President and Union Minister J P Nadda said on Saturday, while making a mention of the recent liquor tragedy and wanted DMK-Congress to show compassion instead in indulging in petty politics. He also urged the state government to punish the culprits at the earliest. In a post on X, he said "the gruesome murder of Thiru K. Armstrong has angered the entire nation." " An upcoming leader’s life, which was devoted to empowering the marginalised sections of society, was brutally cut short", he said. "My thoughts are with his family and friends", he said. "I urge the TN Government to punish the culprits at the earliest", he added. Mr Nadda said "the killing of Thiru Armstrong has also reaffirmed what is widely known- the disregard of the DMK-Congress towards the poor and marginalised sections of society."
