Vijayawada, July 13 (Reporter) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that building a poverty-free society is his life ambition and welfare is possible only if wealth is created.
Chandrababu Naidu attended the ‘Ananta Sesha Stapana’ (installation of eternal relics) programme at ‘Hare Krishna Gokula Kshetra’ at Kolanukonda village near here.
Addressing the religious congregation on the temple precincts, Chandrababu Naidu felt that the people are fortunate enough that they have charitable organisations which instil confidence among them to uphold and protect dharma. "It is merely the faith that drives the whole world forward and the Almighty is the only power that we are not aware of," the Chief Minister stated.
Stating that the Hare Krishna Movement reposes faith among the people that they can perform any kind of programme in a perfect manner, Chandrababu Naidu lauded that the ISKON is also competing with the ‘Hare Krishna’ Movement in performing such programmes. The Great Madhu Pandit Dasa achieves what he wants and strives hard for a policy that he believes, the Chief Minister hoped.
“There are at least 50 persons in the ‘Hare Krishna Movement’ who are the products of the high profile IITs and the ISKON too has IITians, who have sacrificed their lives for upholding the Indian culture and traditions,” the Chief Minister observed.
"Everyone including the scientists, the doctors, the industrialists and the judiciary offer prayers to the Almighty for at least two minutes before beginning their duties. ISRO scientists too pray to God before launching the rockets into space," the Chief Minister noted.
The Hare Krishna Movement is serving not only to God but also extending human service, the Chief Minister said adding that the organisation is building a temple at Kolanukonda village in an extent of 6.5 acres. Observing that he always gives importance to Information Technology (IT), Naidu recalled that when he promoted IT 25 years ago Indians after becoming experts in this have moved to various countries now.
Chandrababu Naidu said that he is extending his wholehearted appreciation to the management of the Akshaya Patra. The organisation is extending quality food for lunch for 22 lakh people in several States daily, Chandrababu Naidu said, adding that his Government will always be in support of ‘Hare Krishna Gokulam and ISKON’ and extend all kinds of cooperation...////...
