Patna, June 10 (Reporter) Election Commission on Monday announced that by-election for Rupauli assembly seat in Bihar will be held on July 10. According to the poll panel, polling for bye-election in Rupauli seat will be held on July 10 and notification for the election will be issued on June 14. Filing of nomination papers will begin with issuance of notification on June 14, it will continue till June 21, the last day of nomination papers to be submitted. Scrutiny of the papers will be conducted on June 24 and willing candidates could withdraw their nominations by June 26. Counting of votes will be taken up on July 13. As it is, Rupali assembly seat had fallen vacant after resignation of sitting JD(U) MLA Beema Bharti who deserted her party to join RJD.
