Kolkata, Mar 16 (Reporter) Arrested Sahjahan Sheikh's brother Sheikh Alamgir was arrested on Saturday by the CBI in the attacks on the ED officials at Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas on January 5, official sources said. S. Alamgir and his two associates were arrested after the Central The Bureau of Investigation interrogated them for hours at its Nizam Palace office. Alamgir was summoned by the federal agency and arrested following his alleged non-cooperation with the investigation into the attacks on the Enforcement Department officials at Sandeshkhali during an abortive search operation in the alleged ration scam. Two others arrested by the CBI were Mafujar Molla, president of Trinamool Congress student wing of Sandeshkhali Block-1 and Sirajul Molla is a resident of Sandeshkhali.
