Thiruvananthapuram, July 31 (Reporter) In connection with the disproportionate assets' case against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, the CBI has recorded the statement of the Managing Director of Kerala-based Jaihind TV channel. The CBI team summoned the channel MD BS Shiju and recorded his statement on Tuesday, sources said. The MD appeared before the probe team following the issuing of a notice against the channel on July 19 seeking the details of the investment made by the Congress leader in the channel. The probe team also sought clarification on any investment made by Shivakumar's wife and their children. The July 19 notice was issued a few days after the apex court dismissed a petition filed by Shivakumar challenging the FIR filed against him by the CBI in the case.
