Central govt will not survive for two years: Sanjay Raut

Mumbai, Jan 2 (Reporter) Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday took a dig at the BJP-led Central government and said that he is doubtful whether the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will survive even for two years till 2026. Addressing a press conference, Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member Raut further stated that Maharashtra will also be affected if his doubts turn into reality, and there is a possibility of change in Maharashtra as well as in other states. "I have doubts in my mind that the union government will survive after 2026 or not. What I think is that Modi will not complete his term, and once the union government is unsettled, it will affect Maharashtra also," Raut said. Responding to the speculations of the former Rajapur MLA of Shiv Sena (UBT), Rajan Salvi, quitting the Uddhav Thackeray-led party after its poor performance in the November 2024 Maharashtra assembly polls, he said that he is in touch with the leader and spoke to him.
