Buxar, Sep 24 (Reporter) Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth, of Uttarakhand, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that the centre was doing politics in the name of cow protection as it has not initiated even a single step for efficiently protecting cows in the last 78 years. During nationwide Gaudhwaj Sthapana Bharat Yatra, Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand reached Buxar on Tuesday, the place of penance of Maharishi Vishwamitra and the place of education of Lord Shri Ram and worshipped the cows in the Gaushala located in Naya Bhojpur. On this occasion he said that the centre in the name of cow protection was doing politics. Commenting on the Tirupati Balaji prasadam controversy he dubbed it as an attack on the faith of Hindus and said that the culprits should be punished sternly. He also commented on the miracles performed by Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham and suggested utilising his miracles to solve the issues of the nation.
