Hyderabad, May 20 (Reporter) Senior BRS leader and former Minister T Harish Rao expressed deep concern over the collapse of the Telangana diagnostic centers under the Congress government within five months. These centers, initiated during the BRS regime, were established to provide free medical examinations to the state's residents. Addressing the issue of delayed salary payments for doctors and staff at the diagnostic centers, Harish Rao took to Twitter to criticize the current administration. He highlighted that former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had established 36 diagnostic centers across Telangana, offering 134 types of medical tests, positioning Telangana as a model state for medical services. Rao lamented the current mismanagement of these centers, which had significantly alleviated the financial burden on millions of poor and common people by providing quality medical tests. He noted the dire situation where staff members have not been paid their wages for six months, attributing this to the Congress's neglect of public health. Demanding immediate action, Harish Rao called on the Congress government to promptly clear the six months' pending salaries of the doctors and staff at the diagnostic centers.
