Bengaluru, May 20 (Reporter) Karnataka JDS President, HD Kumaraswamy, has urged Prajwal Revanna, the Member of Parliament for Hassan who is currently evading authorities in the wake of the Hassan sex scandal, to return and cooperate with the investigation. Speaking at a press conference held in Bengaluru on Monday, Kumaraswamy appealed to Prajwal, making use of the media platform to convey his message. "If he values the legacy of his grandfather H D Deve Gowda and respects the members of our party, I urge him to return to Bengaluru immediately and cooperate with the investigation," he emphasised. Highlighting the significance of Prajwal's familial ties in politics, Kumaraswamy emphasised that the political legacy of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda had been entrusted to Prajwal. He recounted the distress of his father, Deve Gowda, following the incident, revealing that the former PM had contemplated resigning from his Rajya Sabha position. "We somehow persuaded him to reconsider," Kumaraswamy added.
