Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), May 29 (Reporter) The conditions continue to become favourable for the onset of the Southwest Monsoon over Kerala during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday. In a daily weather report here, it said that the conditions also continue to become favourable for further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of the South Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Maldives and Comorin area; some parts of Lakshadweep area, Kerala, some more parts Southwest & Central Bay of Bengal, Northeast Bay of Bengal and some parts of Northeastern states during the same period. Strong winds with a speed of 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema on May 31, June 1 & 2 and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on June 1 and 2. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in Rayalaseema from May 31 to June 4 and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from June 1 to 4. Dry weather is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next three days and in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
