Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that police service is a lifelong commitment that keeps officers dynamic. Acknowledging the continuous challenges faced by the Police, he expressed pride in the Madhya Pradesh Police for successfully overcoming obstacles and setting new benchmarks of excellence. He commended the police force for its round-the-clock dedication to ensuring the state’s and society’s security. Dr. Yadav emphasized the need to strengthen internal unity within the force, highlighting the significance of service meets in fostering collaboration. He noted that such gatherings provide officers an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another, and implement best practices. Speaking at the inauguration of the Indian Police Service Meet (IPS Meet) at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium on Friday, the Chief Minister directed the Director General of Police to implement a grading system for police stations at the district, division, and state levels based on work performance. He also stressed the importance of rewarding police officers and personnel for exemplary work. This, he stated, would enhance both the credibility of the police force and public trust.
