Cong leader Adhir Ranjan slams Mamata, says her dharna a show off before election

Kolkata, Feb 3 (Reporter) West Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Saturday slammed Chief Minister and TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee for organising a dharna in Kolkata. He said she should have done this in Delhi where Congress could have joined for such protest against Centre's alleged withhold of 100 days job money for the state. "We ( Congress) could have also joined if she had organised such a protest demonstration in Delhi" and described her sit-in-dharna at Red Road as a " show off before the Lok Sabha poll," Chowdhury told a news conference. The Congress leader also asked why the TMC government was not moving to the Supreme Court for its "legitimate" demands against the Centre. "Lakh and crores of rupees are spent for the court cases for the party leaders in various cases and why not the same government move to the Supreme court for the poor people who are not getting the 100 days payments," asked the Bengal Congress President He said for the Singur movement Banerjee had gone 26 days fast but why was she not doing it for even 26 hours for poor people of the state. Chowdhury alleged the sit-in-dharna of the TMC leader was a ploy to hoodwink the people before the Lok Sabha poll...////...
