New Delhi, Mar 19 (Reporter) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated on Tuesday that the list of Congress candidates for parliamentary seats would be announced the following day. "Tomorrow we will announce (our list of candidates)," he informed reporters after the Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting here on Tuesday. He did not provide specific details regarding the announcement. The announcement comes in the wake of the Congress party in Karnataka facing significant challenges in finalizing candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. With only about a month left until the elections, the party is struggling to convince some of its ministers and MLAs to contest. Several leaders are reportedly hesitant, leading to delays in candidate selection. However, some ministers are reportedly advocating for the candidacy of their family members instead of running themselves, posing a dilemma for the party leadership.
