Khammam (Telangana), May 25 (Reporter) Former MLC Ramachandra Rao accused the Congress party of coming to power in Telangana on a platform of deceit.
Rao made these remarks while campaigning for BJP MLC candidate Gujjula Premender Reddy in Khammam district on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, Rao characterised the MLC election for graduates as a contest between nationalist and anti-nationalist forces. He urged the voters, especially those familiar with the district's history of political movements, to make informed decisions.
Rao criticised the BRS leaders for their recent campaigning in Khammam district, accusing them of spreading false allegations that BJP leaders are trying to make Hyderabad the capital of a united Andhra Pradesh. Former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) allegedly warned voters against supporting BJP leaders, despite their high qualifications.
Rao asserted that both the BRS and Congress have conspired to eliminate opposition within the legislative bodies.
He praised Premender Reddy for his steadfast commitment to his principles and the BJP for 40 years, highlighting his dedication to serving the people. Rao pointed out the frequent party switching among candidates from Congress and BRS, accusing these parties of betraying students and farmers.
He also accused Congress and BRS of collaborating to prevent the BJP from gaining power in the state.
Rao claimed that the rising influence of the BJP has instilled fear in the other parties, leading them to propagate lies against the BJP. He called on voters to give their first preference vote to Gujjula Premender Reddy in the MLC election scheduled to be held on May 27...////...
