Patna, Feb 1 (Reporter) Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that Congress which has a history of being "anti-backward" was trying to get the credit of the caste survey.
Training guns on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Modi said here on Thursday that Rajiv Gandhi, father of Rahul Gandhi had opposed the implementation of the Mandal Commission report in the parliament and now his son was trying to get the credit of the caste survey conducted in Bihar.
"No one takes Rahul Gandhi seriously", the Senior BJP leader said and asked Gandhi to explain why Congress had suppressed the Mandal Commission's report for 10 long years.
He said that Congress had humiliated the backward leader Sitaram Kesari and had removed him from the post of party president. Instead of making irrelevant and illogical claims during his Yatra on the land of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, Modi suggested him to apologize from the backward and extremely backward class for his party's political crime towards them.
Conducting caste survey in Bihar was the decision of the NDA government, the former Deputy CM said alleging that now Congress and RJD were trying to grab it's credit.
The BJP Rajya Sabha MP asked Rahul Gandhi to explain why the caste survey held in the Congress Government of Karnataka in 2015 has not been published for the last 8 years.
Modi said Congress was in power in Himachal Pradesh for the past one year but it has not decided to conduct a caste survey in the state and was also silent on the issue after coming to power in Telangana...////...
