Hyderabad, May 3 (Reporter) The Congress party launched a special election manifesto for Telangana, featuring five Nyay Patra and specific commitments to the state, during a ceremony held at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.
Deepa Dasmunsi, the AICC state affairs in-charge, unveiled the Telangana-specific election manifesto.
The event was attended by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Sridhar Babu emphasized that the election manifesto was formulated to address the needs of all sections of society. It encompasses 23 crucial issues.
Upon assuming power at the Centre, the Congress government pledges to fulfill all promises outlined in the State Reorganisation Act. The government aims to promote sports extensively and establish multiple universities for the youth's benefit.
Additionally, the Medaram Jatara will be granted national status, and a special Supreme Court bench will be established in Hyderabad. The five villages that merged with Andhra Pradesh will be reintegrated into Telangana, and the Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation project will attain national status.
Sridhar Babu also committed to expanding the number of Central schools in the state.
He urged party leaders and workers to disseminate the party manifesto to every household in the state...////...
