Corinthians progress to Copa Sudamericana semis

Sao Paulo, Sept 25 (Reporter) Corinthians scored three second-half goals to cruise into the Copa Sudamericana semifinals with a 3-0 home win over Brazilian rivals Fortaleza. Angel Romero struck just before the hour in the second-leg clash before goals from Igor Coronaldo and Pedro Henrique put the result beyond doubt on Tuesday. The final scoreline at Corinthians Arena gave the Sao Paulo outfit a 5-0 win on aggregate. "We have to stay calm and humble because there is still so much more to play for," Corinthians manager Ramon Diaz said. "I want to see our team celebrate but we still have a lot of work to both in this competition and the Brazilian Serie A."
