CPI(M) to fight for public issues and social justice, says John Wesley

Hyderabad, Jan 29 (Reporter) Telangana CPI(M) State Secretary John Wesley vowed to fight uncompromisingly for the resolution of public issues and social justice. In a press conference at the party office on Wednesday, Wesley emphasised that CPI(M) would challenge those in power to fulfill their promises and build strong movements against exploitation, social oppression, and liberal economic policies. He criticised the Congress government for failing to implement its promises, particularly in areas like employment, healthcare, and housing. He also pointed out the lack of progress in providing Indiramma houses to deserving individuals and condemned the diversion of SC/ST Subplan funds meant for the welfare of Dalits and other marginalised communities. Wesley called out BJP's communalism and pledged to unite secular and social forces to combat it. He stressed the need for alternative politics focused on education, healthcare, and job creation, and reaffirmed CPI(M)’s commitment to fight for the rights of the working class and oppressed communities. He also noted that the CPI(M) will focus on strengthening its base through public struggles and urged unity within the Left forces to challenge the policies of Congress, BJP, and BRS, which he claimed were aligned against the working class and social justice. CPI(M) Central Committee member Tammineni Veerabhadram also reiterated the importance of class struggles for the growth of the Communist Party, emphasising the need for ideological capacity, political skill, and structural clarity to drive the party forward...////...
