Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), June 18 (Reporter) A cyclonic circulation lies over West-Central (WC) Bay of Bengal adjoining Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 3.1 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday. In a daily weather report here, it said that the conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest monsoon into some more parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Northwest Bay of Bengal, some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, remaining parts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal and some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand during the next 3-4 days. A cyclonic circulation lies over Rayalaseema & neighbourhood at 4.5 km above mean sea level. The east-west trough from Goa to south Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 3.1 km above mean sea level has become less marked. Under its influence, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging 40-50 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days. Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours. Heavy Rainfall occurred at Allagadda & Rudravaram in Nandyal District, Cuddapah, Raju Palam, Proddutur, Duvvur in YSR District, Madanapalle & Chinnamandem in Annamayya District, and Nambulipulikunta in Sri Sathyasai District of Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours. Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at many places over Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Yanam during the same period.
