Amaravati, Oct 5 (Reporter) Friday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over west central and adjoining south Bay of Bengal now lies over west-central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast between 1.5 km to 4.5 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday. In a daily weather report here, it said that the southwest monsoon has been weak in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and active in Rayalaseema. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on October 8 and 9. Heavy rainfall occurred at Chittoor, Anantapuram, Sri Sathyasai districts of Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
