In a daily weather report here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and strong winds with speed of 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period. Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from July 8 to 10. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days. The southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and active in Rayalaseema.
