Patna, Oct 10 (Reporter) Bihar Rural Works Minister and Dalit face of JD(U) in Nitish cabinet Ashok Chaudhary on Thursday announced that a vast conclave of the Dalit community would be organised in Patna on April 14 next year.
Chaudhari said that the venue of the conclave of Dalits would either be the historic Gandhi Maidan or Veterinary College ground in Patna. A final decision in this connection would be taken at the appropriate time and communicated to all, he added.
" Last year, we had organised ' Bheem Sansad ' on November 26 in Patna and a function would be organised in Bapu auditorium to mark the completion of the event this year", Minister said adding that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had taken several steps to ameliorate the conditions of Dalits (oppressed) in last 19 years. Given lots of
works done by Chief Minister Kumar for the welfare of the oppressed, a conclave of Dalits would be organised to express gratitude to him, he pointed out.
Chaudhary said that several works done by Chief Minister Kumar, reflected his commitment to the welfare of the oppressed sections of society. On the other hand, RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav confined himself to posting comments on social media only, he remarked...////...
