Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Reporter) A large number of devotees thronged temples, particularly those dedicated to Lord Vishnu, across Telangana on Friday to offer special prayers on the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Observing the holy day, devout Hindus fasted and immersed themselves in reading sacred scriptures. Vaikuntha, according to Hindu mythology, is considered the celestial abode of Lord Vishnu.
