Beed, Jan 7 (Reporter) The District Planning Committee (DPC) on Sunday approved the draft plan of Rs 400 crore for development of Beed for the year 2024-25. Speaking during the DPC meeting held under chairmanship of Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Dhananjay Munde, he said that farmers will not have to run after any bank after getting the farmer's identity card, instead, the bank itself will come home to give them loan, he said. With this, bogus farmers will be identified, he said. As the central government has selected Beed district for this scheme, the district will be known both at national and international level, he noted.
