Bhubaneswar, Apr 2 (Reporter) The Election Commission of India(ECI) on Tuesday directed the Odisha Chief Secretary to transfer two IAS and six IPS officers to non-election-related posts with immediate effect. The Chief Secretary was asked to provide a panel of three officers in respect of each of the officers transferred and send the compliance report to the Commission by 5 PM on Tuesday. The eight IAS , IPS officers who will be transferred to non-election duty are two district collectors , five Superintendent of Police, and one Inspector General (IG) rank officer. They are IG of police (Central ) Ashish Kumar Singh, Cuttack district collector Vineet Bhardwaj, and Jagatsinghpur district collector Parul Patawari.
