Gaya, April 13 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday said that eight lakh government jobs were given to youth in the state by his government since voted to power in 2005 Kumar, while addressing a public meeting in favour of NDA candidate Jeetan Ram Manjhi for Lok Sabha election 2024, said that eight lakhs government jobs were given to youth in Bihar in 18 years of his tenure as Chief Minister. His government was committed to provide government jobs to youth as well as creating employment opportunities for them, he added. "Since 2020, four lakh government jobs were given to youth while process is on for recruitment against one lakh vacant posts", Nitish said adding it was strange to note that RJD was taking credit for giving jobs. RJD was part of his government for few months and he got rid of them as Ministers from RJD quota were indulged in corrupt practices, he added. Kumar said that law and order had totally collapsed during the RJD regime. No one used to come out of their house after Sunset for fear of being attacked by criminals, he said. The Chief Minister exhorted the people to cast their votes in favour of NDA candidate Jeetan Ram Manjhi.
