Mumbai, Nov 11 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Devendra Fadnavis, asserted on Monday that the ruling Mahayuti government in the state in collaboration with the BJP-led central government, has implemented many schemes for development of the backward areas and the progress of tribal society.
Addressing an election rally at Deori in Gondia district of Vidarba region of eastern Maharashtra for BJP-Mahayuti candidate Sanjay Puram from Amgaon-Deori assembly constituency, he said, "Our government is working for development of all sections of society and all sectors to take the state on the path of prosperity. Efforts are being made by the government for the development of tribals by creating infrastructure even in remote and hilly areas."
"Villages that were once deprived of development have now come into the mainstream of development and the standard of living of people there has started rising," he said.
The BJP-led central government and the state government have implemented various schemes for the progress of every section of the society, he reiterated.
The Deputy CM listed out many schemes launched by the government for uplift of tribal society such as Birsa Munda Yojana for tribal sisters, Janman Yojana, Modi Awas Yojana, Shabri, Ramai Yojana, Independent Ministry for OBC community, Mahajyoti Yojana, 52 hostels for students and foreign education scholarship scheme.
Similarly, many welfare schemes like crop insurance scheme, Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, solar agriculture channel scheme, establishment of independent agricultural electricity distribution company, announcement of paddy bonus, Lake Ladki, Ladki Bahin Yojana, 50 per cent rebate in ST travel, free higher education for mothers-in-law have been implemented for farmers and women members of society, added Fadnavis...////...
