Bengaluru, Feb 9 (Reporter) The United States is set to showcase its advanced aerospace and defense capabilities at **Aero India 2025**, reinforcing its deepening security and strategic partnership with India. Marking its 15th participation in Asia’s premier aerospace and defense exhibition, the U.S. will present cutting-edge technologies in aviation, underscoring a shared commitment to regional security, economic growth, and technological collaboration. More than two dozen American companies will engage with Indian counterparts, highlighting advancements in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, avionics, and defense electronics. The event will serve as a platform for fostering bilateral trade and innovation in the defense sector. Leading the high-level U.S. delegation is Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews, accompanied by senior officials from the U.S. Departments of State, Defense, and Commerce. “The United States is excited to once again participate in Aero India and spotlight our strong defense ties with India. Our cooperation in defense, trade, and training is integral to our growing strategic partnership,” Andrews stated. Among the senior U.S. officials attending are General Kevin Schneider, Commander, U.S. Pacific Air Forces; Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Senior Defense Official, U.S. Mission India; and Consul General Chris Hodges of the U.S. Consulate in Chennai. Since the last edition of Aero India in 2023, U.S.-India defense ties have expanded significantly, with cooperation in maritime security, cybersecurity, logistics, and counter-terrorism operations. The increasing volume of bilateral defense trade has also contributed to enhanced interoperability through joint training, information sharing, and strategic agreements. General Kevin Schneider highlighted the importance of the event, stating, “Aero India 2025 is an ideal forum to showcase U.S. defense aircraft and equipment, fostering compatibility and interoperability with allied nations. As the Indo-Pacific security landscape evolves, our partnership with India continues to be vital.” Visitors to the event will witness the display of U.S.-made defense aircraft, including the F-16, F-35, KC-135 Stratotanker, and B-1 bomber.
