Fake IT job racket busted, one held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 17 (Reporter) The city police have busted a fake IT job racket by arresting a person. Police seized net cash of Rs 1 lakh, five fake appointment letters, 2 fake ID cards, two mobile phones from him. On credible information, The Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, and arrested the prime accused, Kaluva Bharghav (34) of Venkateswara Nagar, Chintal, Hyderabad who established a fraudulent software company named “Neogen Soft Tech Solutions” in Madhapur, a police statement said on Monday. Bharghav allegedly cheated several IT job aspirants by falsely promising them positions as Junior Developers and Software Engineers. He collected large sums of money from job seekers, issued fake appointment letters and ID cards, and then shut down the company, disappearing with the money. He is wanted in four cases registered at the Lallaguda, Jeedimetla, Madhapur, and Kalwakurthy police stations for criminal breach of trust and other charges. \\\\\\\\ Bharghav, who holds an M.Tech degree, had used his knowledge from previous HR roles in IT companies to orchestrate this scam. He created a corporate-styled office, established a fake website, and lured job seekers by conducting online interviews and promising employment after collecting significant amounts of money. Once he had taken the money, he disappeared and switched off his contact numbers. The accused has been handed over to the Lallaguda Police Station for further investigation and action...////...
