Hyderabad/Indore, Jan 27 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Ministerial A Revanth Reddy stated that the Congress party is united in its fight to safeguard the Constitution, alongside Rahul Gandhi.
Speaking at the "Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan" rally organized by the Indian National Congress in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday, Revanth Reddy emphasised the importance of this struggle to preserve the democratic values of the nation.
Revanth Reddy declared that this is not merely an election rally but a war between two ideologies—those committed to protecting the Constitution and those attempting to alter it.
He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making continuous efforts to change the Constitution since assuming office, likening his actions to historical instances of exploitation.
"Rahul Gandhi recognised these threats early on and has been steadfast in his fight to defend the Constitution," Revanth Reddy said.
He drew a parallel between Modi and Mahmud of Ghazni, claiming Modi is attempting to undermine the Constitution, but asserted that his attempts would ultimately fail.
"Just as Mahatma Gandhi liberated the country from British rule, Rahul Gandhi is standing firm to counter the Bharatiya Janata Party, which I call the 'British Janata Party.' Rahul Gandhi symbolises resistance against these forces," he added.
Revanth Reddy framed the current political scenario as a battle between two families—the Gandhi family and the Godse family. "Modi represents the ideology of the Godse family, while Rahul Gandhi stands for the values of the Gandhi family. We must all unite with Rahul Gandhi in this fight," he urged.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for a Congress-led government under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership to protect the Constitution and uphold the vision of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
He called upon citizens to rally together in this critical battle for the nation’s democratic future, according to a statement here...////...
