Fire breaks out in residential building in Patna, none hurt

Patna, May 29 (Reporter) An accidental fire engulfed nineth floor of a residential building on busy Fraser road of city on Wednesday night, gutting property worth lakhs of rupees to ashes. Police said that an accidental fire broke out on nineth floor of Surya apartment, which engulfed it completely in no time. There were 55 flats in apartment and all were vacated after fire started engulfing nineth floor. "Altogether 20 fire engines and two hydraulic machines were pressed into service to douse the fire," police said, adding that it took altogether three hours to extinguish the blaze completely.
