Chennai, Apr 9 (Reporter) In a tragic incident, five members of family were killed, while one of them suffered injuries, when the car in which they were travelling collided with a Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation (TNSETC) bus near Olapalayam village in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu, on Tuesday. The deceased including a three-month-old infant, police said. The victims were to Tiruppur from Tirukkadaiyur, when the mishap took place in the early hours of today. The bus was heading for Tiruchirpalli from Tiruppur. The deceased were identified as Chandrasekaran (60) of Tiruppur, his wife Chitra (57), their son and daughter-in-law Sasidharan (30) and Arivithra (30). Arivithra had given birth to a girl baby three months back, which also died in the mishap. Chandrasekaran’s other son Ilavarasan (26) was admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital, Tiruppur, with injuries. The bodies were sent to Government Hospital, Kangayam, for post-mortem.
