Patna, Sep 1(Reporter) Former Bihar Minister Shyam Rajak on Sunday joined JD(U) along with a large number of his supporters.
Rajak joined JD(U) at a simple ceremony organised at the party headquarters where a large number of senior leaders including working President of JD(U) Sanjay Jha, Ministers Bijendra Prasad Yadav, and Ratnesh Sada besides state JD(U) President Umesh Kushwaha were also present on the occasion.
Rajak while speaking on the occasion, said he was highly impressed with the performance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who had worked hard to protect the interest of the oppressed section of the society. It was my pleasure that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had allowed him to work for the party, he added.
" I had left JD(U)a few years back to strengthen the fight for justice to oppressed but I felt cheated there", the former Minister said. A sort of conspiracy was hatched by RJD to negate the benefits of works being done by Chief Minister Kumar, he recalled.
Working President of JD(U) Sanjay Jha while welcoming Rajak in his party, said that he was a seasoned politician and had worked with several Chief Ministers including Nitish Kumar as Minister in their cabinet. With his re-induction, the party would get strengthened, he noted.
" Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was the first to sub-categorise scheduled castes as Maha Dalit and Dalit", Jha said adding that the most oppressed section of the society got many benefits from the steps taken by him...////...
