Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Reporter) Dignitaries and politicians paid floral tributes to late S. Jaipal Reddy,
Former Union Minister, and "Outstanding Parliamentarian," on Tuesday at Spoorthi Sthal, Jaipal Reddy Memorial Place, PVR Marg (Necklace Road), near Sanjeevaiah Park on the occasion of
his 82nd birth anniversary.
Roads and Building Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishnarao, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and several Congress leaders were among those who paid their respects.
Speaking on the occasion Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy highlighted Jaipal Reddy's significant contributions to Telangana and his pivotal role in the creation of Telangana.
He expressed confidence that the desired development of Telangana would continue in Jaipal Reddy's honour. Special programs will be organized in his name, leaving an enduring legacy in
the history of Telangana.
Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy credited Jaipal Reddy for the successful implementation of
the Hyderabad city metro train system, a testament to his hard work.
Tummala Nageswara Rao remembered Jaipal Reddy as the best Lok Sabha member and emphasized that his absence is felt not just in Telangana but throughout the entire country.
Rao acknowledged Jaipal Reddy's instrumental role in the formation of Telangana state and the passage of crucial bills in the parliament.
Former minister Chinnareddy reflected on Jaipal Reddy's journey from a student leader to a statesman. He praised Jaipal Reddy's indelible mark on Telangana, particularly his efforts in persuading Congress leaders to pass the Telangana Bill.
Chinnareddy expressed confidence that, under the leadership of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy,
