Amaravati (AP), Jun 7 (Reporter) Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Telangana, remaining parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of south Chhattisgarh & South Odisha, remaining parts of Westcentral & more parts of Northwest Bay of Bengal during next 3-4 days, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the cyclonic circulation over north Rayalaseema & neighbourhood now lies over south Telangana & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The shear zone now runs roughly along 16°N between 3.1 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level.Under its influence, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds 30- 40 Kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at most places over Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Yanam during the last 24 hours, the report added...////...
