Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Feb 4 (Reporter) Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Sunday launched 'Gaon Chalo Abhiyan' week (February 4–11) for extensive public relations.
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Abhiyan was launched by Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad, State Housing and OBC Welfare Minister Atul Save, State General Secretary Sanjay Kenekar, and City District President Shirish Boralkar, along with all regional office bearers from the three assembly constituencies of the city.
During their Libyan party, general secretaries and regional office-bearers will stay for one day in the villages assigned to them.
In the background of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is working with the development agenda in mind, creating a good organisational structure. 'Gaon Chalo Abhiyan' has been undertaken to reach every voter at the grassroots level, the effective work of the Modi government in the last 10 years, the fulfilment of the promises made in the last manifesto, and the salient provisions of this year's interim budget, which convey the resolve of a developed India, told Boralkar.
To convey to every citizen what Modiji's guarantee is, leaflets will be distributed, giving information about the schemes and remarkable achievements of the Modi government in the last 10 years, he said.
Dr. Karad, the Union Minister, and State Minister Save participated in this campaign. The campaign will be implemented ward-wise in urban areas, he further said.
Under this, travelling leaders of the BJP will reach every voter. All party MLAs, along with ex-officio Zilla Parishad members, will travel to every unit in the district, and they will also get support from the Super Warriors, he informed.
Boralkar said the travelling leader of the BJP will stay for one day in each unit and will do 18 planned organisational tasks, such as meetings of booth heads, meetings with citizens, discussions with new voters, and contacting the voters at about 890 booths.
To reach every class, 'Namo Chashak' for youth and 'Shakti Vandan programme' for women are also being implemented under this Abhiyan. Soon, Prime Minister Modi will interact with women Self-Help Group (SHG) representatives through the Shaktivandan programme, added Boralkar...////...
