Amritsar, May 25 (Reporter) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday urged the people of the state to gear up to save the Indian democracy and the Constitution by using their voting right. Mann led a massive road show for Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Amritsar candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal in Raja Sansi, Ajnala and Majitha. Despite the afternoon scorching heat, thousands of people joined the roadshow Addressing the people in Raja Sansi, Mann urged them to get ready to save the Indian democracy and the Constitution. "Get ready to use the right to vote, that our freedom fighters earned for us by sacrificing their lives," the CM said. He expressed his happiness as people came out of their houses despite the searing heat to show theirsolidarity with him. In Ajnala, the home assembly constituency of Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Mann said as a state Cabinet Minister, Dhaliwal freed 10,000 acres of Illegally encroached land from influential people. He is one of the strongest voices that Punjab has, and will raise Punjab's issues in the Parliament and will get Punjab's pending funds released.
