Patna, Sep 17 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday declared that his government was making all efforts to ensure employment to all in the state itself, a major step to check migration in search of livelihood.
Kumar while greeting people on the occasion of " Vishwakarma Puja ", said that Bihar was setting milestones of development one after the other successively. The contribution of labourers in the development of Bihar had been vital without any parallel, he noted.
" Our government has launched several schemes to provide coverage of social security to a large number of labourers working in unorganised sector", the Chief Minister said adding that the state government was also making all efforts to ensure that labourers could get employment in Bihar itself, not need to migrate in search of their livelihood. He exuded his confidence that Bihar would continue to move on the fast track of development at an accelerated pace with the support and sustained contribution of labourers.
" I salute all labourers and other workforce on the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Puja", Kumar said in a message released from the CM secretariat.
He worshipped the God Vishwakarma on the occasion and did other religious rituals before the idol of Vishwakarma was installed at CM's residence. Reports of worship of God Vishwakarma was also received from all parts of Bihar...////...
