Belagavi, Nov 5 (Reporter) A 35-year-old government clerk was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the Tehsildar's chamber in Belagavi on Tuesday morning. Local police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of death. The deceased, identified as Rudranna, was working as a Second Division Assistant. Preliminary reports indicate he was found hanging in the office. Upon receiving the initial report, police rushed to the scene to conduct a preliminary inquiry and gather evidence. This was confirmed by the police. As per preliminary examination, the deceased used a veil to hang himself. To aid the investigation, the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called to inspect the scene. Police have also started reviewing CCTV footage from the premises to piece together a sequence of events leading to Rudranna’s death.
