Patna, Oct 20 (Reporter) Grand Alliance on Sunday declared its candidates for by-elections in all four assembly seats, giving three seats to RJD and one to CPI(ML), in seat-sharing arrangement among its constituents.
Seat sharing and names of candidates were announced in press conference jointly addressed by state RJD President Jagadanand Singh, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) President Akhilesh Prasad Singh, General Secretary of CPI(ML) Deepankar Bhattacharya and leaders of CPI and CPI(M).
As per the announcement made, RJD will contest three seats--Imamganj, Belaganj, Ramgarh while CPI(ML) will contest the Tarari seat. RJD has fielded Roshan Kumar Manjhi alias Rajesh Manjhi from Imamganj, Vishwanath Kumar Singh from Belaganj, and Ajit Kumar Singh from Ramgarh , while CPI(ML) has fielded Raju Yadav from the Tarari Assembly seat.
Leaders of Grand Alliance, while speaking on the occasion said that double-engine government of NDA in Bihar had failed on all fronts. People were fed up with Nitish-led NDA government in Bihar, they alleged and claimed that Grand Alliance was set to bag all four seats in assembly by-elections.
