Bengaluru, Mar 21 (Reporter) Former Karnataka Minister and senior JDS leader HD Revanna disclosed on Thursday that his brother and State JDS President HD Kumaraswamy underwent successful heart surgery in Chennai. The surgery concluded at 10:10 am, and Kumaraswamy is reportedly recovering well, he said after meeting BJP leader BS Yediyurappa. He also expressed gratitude for the support and blessings received from his father, former PM HD Deve Gowda, and the people Kumaraswamy served. Kumaraswamy is expected to return to Karnataka on March 25, after which a joint meeting will be convened to address any issues. Revanna emphasised the importance of unity and ensuring the stability of leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. Efforts are being made to support Modi's re-election as Prime Minister, with Deve Gowda's decision to collaborate with the BJP being mentioned in this regard. Revanna highlighted the individual capacities of Deve Gowda and Yediyurappa, seeking Yediyurappa's support for his son, Prajwal Revanna, who is the sitting JDS MP from Hassan and will contest as the NDA candidate. Yediyurappa has reportedly assured his assistance, promising to visit the constituency and contribute to Prajwal Revanna's campaign for victory. Prajwal Revanna, who currently serves as the JD(S) MP from Hassan, may get a ticket as the NDA candidate in the upcoming elections.
