Bengaluru, May 29 (Reporter) In a startling development here on Wednesday, a Special Court for Elected Representatives dealt a severe blow to the defense of Prajwal Revanna by rejecting his anticipatory bail plea amid grave accusations of sexual abuse. The judge dismissed the bail application presented by Arun, Prajwal's advocate. This decision has heightened the suspense surrounding Prajwal's imminent return to Bengaluru. Prajwal, the grandson of JDS stalwart HD Deve Gowda, finds himself entangled in a scandal involving alleged rape and sexual harassment of a 47-year-old woman. Prajwal's mother, Bhavani Revanna, has sought anticipatory bail, fearing her arrest in connection with the kidnapping case involving her husband. The SIT has vehemently opposed Bhavani's bail plea and has also moved to nullify the interim anticipatory bail granted to Revanna.
