Mangaluru, May 4 (Reporter) Recent developments at the Mangaluru International Airport have sparked concern and heightened security measures following the revelation of an email threat received earlier this week.
On April 29, airport officials were alarmed by an email purportedly from a group identifying themselves as 'Terrorizers 111'. The ominous message detailed plans for explosions at the airport premises and onboard three aircraft, accompanied by grim warnings of impending bloodshed.
The incident came to light on Saturday.
Although initially taken seriously, subsequent investigations by authorities revealed the threat to be a hoax, allaying fears of imminent danger.
