Hyd : AIMIM not to ally with any party in Telangana: Owaisi

Hyderabad, Apr 13 (Reporter) All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday clarified that its party is not in alliance with any party in Telangana state. The 56-year-old Owaisi who is on a door-to-door election campaign at Bahadurpura Assembly constituency in the old city, said that AIMIM is contesting alone in the upcoming elections in the state and it is not any party’ B’ Team. He said that in Uttar Pradesh, they are part of the PDM coalition. He assured that his party would oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR), and National Register of Citizens (NRC). “The AIADMK has refused to ally with BJP and has committed to never allying with it in the future. It has also assured that it will oppose NAA, NPR, and NRC. Therefore, AIMIM extends its support to AIADMK in the coming Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu, Owaisi, the sitting Hyderabad MP, said. “Our alliance will also continue for the Assembly elections”, he added.
