Patna, June 2 (Reporter) BJP MP Ramjripal Yadav whose convoy was attacked during the last phase of the polling said here that he was never indulged in the politics of violence. Retorting sharply at the incident Yadav said here during his morning walk on Sunday that he was surprised with the attack. "I never imagined that anyone could open fire at me", he said adding that he was never into the politics of violence. The MP, who was earlier with the RJD said that such politics never happened when he was with the party and it appears a new trend was emerging in RJD. Speaking about the incident Yadav, who is contesting from Patliputra Loksabha constituency against RJD Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said he was moving in his constituency during the polling and visited the polling booth in Masaudhi after getting the information of vandalism by local RJD MLA Rekha Paswan Yadav. He said nearly 20-25 people attacked and opened 3 to 4 rounds of firing at him on Patna Dobhi four lane when he was returning from there. Yadav said he had a narrow escape in the incident in which two of his supporters sustained injuries.
