Mumbai, Jul 3 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday gave an instruction to implement the 'Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin' scheme in a transparent manner expeditiously and warned of strict action against government officers and employees if they try to create obstruction, delay the process or demand money from women beneficiaries. Presiding over a meeting held at state Assembly regarding entire process of providing necessary documents to eligible women for benefit of the scheme and then filling forms of the scheme, he said that the state government has introduced various schemes that will change the lives of mothers and sisters. The government also took decision of launching the Chief Minister - Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana immediately, he informed. The state government will give Rs 1,500 per month to eligible women beneficiaries under this scheme, which means Rs 18,000 per year to them, the Chief Minister said and informed that a provision of Rs 46,000 crore has been made for this. He asked the district collectors to keep an eye on implementation of entire process so that it is done in a transparent manner speedily.
