Jairam Ramesh slams Nitish for his latest U-turn

Jalpaiguri, Jan 28 (Reporter) Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Sunday slammed chief minister Nitish Kumar for his latest U-turn, leaving the INDIA bloc and joining the NDA to retain power in Bihar. Ramesh dubbed the JDU leader "special" for betraying politics after Nitish Kumar resigned as the CM and then joined the NDA group to retain his seat of power. Ramesh was also critical of Nitish Kumar's statement that he was not comfortable with the grand alliance, and therefore he deserted suddenly the bloc. The Nitish Kumar act happened only five days after another alliance partner Trinamool Congress announced to contest the Lok Sabha poll in 2024 alone in West Bengal. TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee on January 24 said that they have no truck with Congress regarding seat adjustment in Bengal. The twin developments happened at a time when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi began his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on January 25 and his Bihar trip will begin in a day or two...////...
